Which of the following are examples of projectile motion?

Postby gus8 » October 29th, 2011, 8:26 pm

For the first: 2 of them.

For the second one: all of them except for 3.

It's YOUR homework... THINK!

EDIT:
For the second one, I assume that a cliff diver is diving straight out, not up and out.
A cliff diver needs to put all of his energy into clearing the face of the cliff.

When in doubt, justify your answer!

EDIT2:
My mistake!
I was thinking of following a parabolic curve rather than projectile motion!
Since a cliff diver IS a projectile, the correct answer would be 2.
