Do you like BLT's - and if you do - how do you make them - do you like the bacon rare, medium or well done?

and how many pieces of bacon? Do you toast your bread and what kind of bread? Do you like mayo or Miracle Whip.

Do you put slices of tomato and how many and do you also put lettuce on it and do you cut the finished sandwich in a diagonal.

and also - do you put any other things on your BLT and do you not include some of the above - like for example - using no bacon (if you are a vegie) and putting on more tomatoes and lettuce to compensate for that.

pile on the bacon...Lean, real cured, fried well but not stiff... thin sliced tomato... leaf lettuce... hold the mayo.... I also like a thin slice of Swiss cheese........... lightly buttered and grilled dark bread.... place leaf of lettuce... then two thin slices of tomato... then half the bacon... then the swiss... then more bacon... then two more tomato.... then lettuce... bread..... serve while bread and bacon are still hot..............NEVER CUT The sandwich... that is sacrilege

4 pieces of bacon, halved, laid out in a grid, not too crispy (It will cut the roof of your mouth)
2 slices of wheat bread, lightly toasted (Again, toast too much and it will destroy the roof of your mouth)
3 slices of a beefsteak tomato ~5mm thick
1 tsp of mayo applied to the top piece of bread (softens the bread that will destroy your palate)
1 piece of Romaine lettuce trimmed to have 12% more surface area than the bread you are using.

Semi crispy bacon. Tomato thickly sliced. White bread toasted. Mayo. A few pieces of lettuce. Cheese is optional and as much bacon as you like :-) :-) perfect sandwich :-) :-)

Lettuce should only be used as a garnish.

crispy bacon
thick slice of tomato
two slices of lettuce- i think iceberg is best for BLT
and hot sauce!
