Masquerade Party for my birthday?

Masquerade Party for my birthday?

Postby camey » March 24th, 2014, 1:31 am

For my 18th Birthday I want to have a masquerade ball but I don't know what sorts of foods to have.

The theme of the party is Italian Carnevale

I already have down different types of cheeses, breads, olives, and sliced tomatoes. I can't figure out what else to have, dessert wise and drink wise. I want to try and keep the food in the renaissance time period as much as possible.

Thanks in advance! :3

for desserts - I would try tira misu and canolis and what not.

Italians are most known for their wines and coffee drinks. Since you're too young for wine - coffee is your only choice - finger foods are always a good idea. After all, who doesn't like cheese, meat, veggie trays? If you wanna keep it in the Ren period - any dish with tomato sauce is out. That was really a device found around 500 years ago in america - believe it or not!

oh and don't forget the prosciutto!!!!!! or provelone
