Are vegetable/fruit drinks basically the same as eating the actual fruit/vegetables?

I made my own drink today. I added half a tomato, half an organge, 1 carrot, and about a cup of water. Then I used my blender. After that I took a metal strainer to get rid of the thickness (from the carrot). So is doing that basically the same as eating a tomato, orange and carrot? Or do I lose some vitamins?
