Would a bad taste in music put you off someone?

I'm 17 and I love pop music (basically chart music). I like Taylor Swift, One Direction, Maroon 5, Adele etc. I actually love all kinds of music, I love bands like Guns&Roses, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston etc, but my ipod only consist of pop music because I can listen to it repeatedly and never get bored. The other music I like, its more when I'm at home lounging, I'll go on youtube and play it.
Would bad taste put you off someone. (No offence, to anyone who likes the music I mentioned).

I wouldn't mind- unless you commented on my music taste and/or made me listen to yours.

Nobody really listens to the music I listen to so I really can't be picky and reject people on the basis of taste. I personally wouldn't be put off by music taste alone because it's more or less of a hobby and shouldn't impede the development of a close relationship with somebody (as long as the person isn't playing music 24/7)

Well since I'm a straight female yes it would put me off if a guy liked Taylor Swift or Adele, maybe you are a guy. It's just my personal opinion. I listen to primarily metal and then my guilty pleasure is Lana Del Rey but I'd like a guy who likes the music I like. But I'd have no major major problem with him liking them, it would just be off putting and probably annoying.

Well,i would be put off by anyone who listened to that music since i hate it.It doesn't mean you and me wouldn't get along...but we could never date.

Course this all depends on what gender you are.If you are a male i want nothing to do with you at all.Even If it is does involve friendship.Cause i hate clowns, and guys who listen to Taylor Swift and One Direction.

No, I like all types of music so it wouldn't bother me. It's if you would force me to listen to something I don't like or say my music taste is terrible, then that's what I wouldn't like.

I wouldn't mind if someone likes taylor swift's songs for example, but if they like taylor swift herself I would be kinda put off.
