How to do this formula on access?

Postby bebhinn32 » March 7th, 2014, 10:33 am

I have a database of orchid names and whether or not they are sold. I am supposed to find the profit of each orchid type. I know that I have to group the sold column by count so that it shows the number sold as ie. 70 and the orchid name as ie. Brassia. I have two other columns: Wholesale Price and Final Selling Price. I know that I have to multiply the counts sold for each orchid by the difference in Final Selling Price and Wholesale Price. Basically: (Final Selling Price- Wholesale Price)* Counts Sold

How do I put a formula like this in access? Thank you so much!!
