Would you rather live in a townhome with fire sprinklers or not?

I'm developing a townhome project. There are two options, fire sprinklers or a firewall between each unit. Sprinklers will cost about $10,000 more (14 units), insurance savings of about $500/year. When renting would you pay more for a sprinkled building? When buying would you pay more for a sprinkled townhome?

In shared housing, I would not want the risk of water damage that sprinklers pose. There are so many people that start small stove fires etc that the sprinklers would eventually go off. Also, often times, after a fire, the water damage is worse than the fire damage.

As a prospective tenant, either option wouldn't be a deal breaker. As a developer, I wouldn't pay more for the sprinklers. Yeah, you have a savings, but the payoff is 20 years.

Renting - I could care less. I never had anything of value when I rented.
And there is always renters insurance.
Buyer. Not sure. I've had some nasty oven mistakes where smoke has made alarms go off. God forbid sprinkers went off and ruined everything.
god forbid.
= not a good cook here.
