How to make a cladogram?

You can read about what a cladogram is here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cladogram

A cladogram will show relationships between different organisms. In your example, plants that are closely related will end up on the same "fork" while other, less related plants, will branch off earlier.
It always has a "root" branch, that is either shown at the bottom or on the left side.

Then, to help you even more, here are some websites that show evolutionary relationships between different plants.

Good luck!
